Ethel Burleson
Asheville - Ethel Mae Burleson, 93, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at her residence.
She was a native of and had resided most of her life in Buncombe County. Ethel was the daughter of the late James and Elsie Ogle Smith and wife of the late Oliver Burleson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her children, Eugene Burleson, Rose Breazeale, Ronnie Burleson, Jimmy Lee Burleson, Landon Burleson, Janice Kay Coomer, Roger Burleson and Catherine Gaze; 19 grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday February 5 at 2 PM at Piney Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Freeman officiating.
