Doris H. Milton Obituary
Doris H. Milton, of Moncton, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Born in Forest Glen, NB she was the daughter of the late LeBaron and LaVilla (Fletcher) Hopey. Doris was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the RCAF (WD). Following the war she worked with the federal service where she met her husband and then devoted her life to her family. She was a member of Highfield Street Baptist Church for over 60 years.
She is survived by her daughter Beverly (Robert) Strugnell of Whitby, ON; sons Barry E. (Othella) Milton of Penniac, NB, John R. (Noelle McHugh) Milton of Woodstock, NB, and G. Randy (Terri) Milton of Falmouth, NS; grandchildren Alan, Vicki, Krista, Kenneth, Scott, Kelly and Mark; great grandchildren Jared, Kenadie, Serena and Nolan; special sister in law Joyce Milton of Moncton, several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ronald E. Milton in 2006; her sisters Evelyn Lutes and Ellen Beaman.
A private family visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 1:00pm with Pastor Gary Barr officiating.
Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
