Entered into rest at the St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville on Saturday April 29th, 2017. Hildur (Claesson) Pekkonen of Brockville, aged 91 years. Loving mother of Anneli Pekkonen (Tim Wright) of Toronto, Rita Shaw (Kevin) of Gananoque and Paul Pekkonen of Brockville. Cherished grandmother of Alicia, Benjamin and Jocelyn. Dear sister of the late Linnea, Arvid, Bertil, Sigrid, Astrif, Sture and Helmer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by parents Karl and Esther (Swensson) Claesson and husband Jorma (Joe) Pekkonen.
Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday May 3rd, 2017 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will follow being held in the Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery.
