Donald Parfett Obituary
Don Parfett peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, with his family by his side on April 19, 2018 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Shirley (née Farrell) Parfett. Dear father of Mark (Brenda), Doug (Tracey), Kelli MacCormick (Johnny). Proud Poppa of eight grandchildren Mathew, Brian, David, Brooke, Evan, Noah, Brianna, Keira. Dear brother-in-law of Orpha Parfett (Calgary), and Isabel Farrell (Ottawa). Dear son of the late John and Meryl (née Gordon) Parfett. Predeceased by eight brothers and sisters Ruth (late Reinhold), Jack, Jim (late Betty), Neil, Bill, Bud (late Mary), Peggy, Shirley (late Don). Will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place at Knox-St. Paul United Church, 800 Twelfth Street, East, Cornwall on Friday April 27, 2018 at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, if so desired donations can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation ( www.cpff.ca ) or a charity of your choice. Thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at CCH for the wonderful and compassionate care shown to Don and family during his time at the hospital.
