GERVAIS, Carl “Garnet”

Passed away peacefully at Northland Point Nursing home with Family by his side. Loving husband to Hedy for over 48 years. Much loved father to Danielle Gervais-Barton (Steve), Laura Flatt (Tom) and Leslie-Ann Gervais. Very special Grandpa to Kandyce, Brant, Myrah, Dayton, Tommy, Landon, Mazlynn, Anderson, Anela-Jolie and Taj and Great Grandfather to Ryley. Son of the late Ted and Marie Anne Gervais. Beloved brother to Bill, Ted, Paul (2021), Marty, Rosemary, and Michelle.
Garnet was a person of many talents. He took great pride in his early years training race horses. Once an employee of the Ontario Jockey Club as senior security manager for the backstretch. Former District Manager and Sales Manager for Canada with Pinkertons of Canada including 20 years of service in the Security and Investigation field. On a personal level he was always making jokes with his silly sense of humour. He loved to share about his years growing up, his siblings, parents, children and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and family at J.W. Hart Funeral Home Inc. (113 Lock East.
Dunnville, Ontario) on Saturday October 23, 2021 between 10:00am-11:00am. Service to begin at 11:00am followed by cremation.
