DZIKOWSKI, Jadwiga (nee Toczycka)
(September 14, 1929 – September 21, 2021)
Passed peacefully at Extendicare Hamilton at the age of 92, now united with her husband Teodor.
Fondly known as “Baba” and “JD”, Jadwiga resided in her North End neighbourhood for 62 years. She enjoyed aqua fit, walks by the water, playing cards, and was a talented seamstress and cook. She took great pleasure in the company of others and always had an open door. She was devoted to her family and their well-being and they were her pride and joy. Jadwiga will always be remembered for her smiling face, gentle, welcoming nature and kindness, wisdom and selflessness. She had a grateful heart and a special gift for making people feel loved and appreciated.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and loving circle of friends.
Her heart was full of love, especially for her 2 children: Peter (Karen) and Krystyna (Luis). Cherished grandmother to:
Matthew (Chantal), Laura (Mike), Jordan and Marcus. Great-grandmother to Mya, Kara and Tessa.
Pre-deceased by siblings Jozia and Emilia, survived by Janek and Wladzia and her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL (43 Barton Street East) on Thursday September 23 from 9-11 a.m. As per the current COVID-19 guidelines guests are required to wear a mask, socially distance, and provide information for contact tracing purposes. A Funeral Service will take place at Friscolanti’s on Thursday, September 23 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
