Joshua Dillabough-Chartrand Obituary check_circle

At Quinte Health Care Belleville General, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.  Joshua Dillabough-Chartrand, of Belleville, in his 41st year.  Son of Sheila (Dillabough) and Gerry Chartrand.  Grandson of Don and Luella Dillabough and Franscoise St-Pierre, all deceased.  Brother of Benoit Chartrand and Jessica DeWal (Cody).  Uncle of Jolene Luella and Flinton Allan DeWal.  Loved by many friends, uncles, aunts and cousins.  Although Joshua lived with cerebral palsy and a wheelchair, this did not limit his vast intelligence.  He was a published author and has written over a hundred short stories and poems.  He also loved to paint and draw, play wrestling video games and cheer for his favourite sports teams.  He truly enjoyed telephoning his cousin Connie in the Seattle area and debating American politics, as well as, nightly calls to family here.  Joshua never wavered in his trust in God for this life and eternity.  The song ‘Well Done My Good and Faithful One’ would be a tribute to him. The Afters – Well Done
The family would like to thank the Emergency and ICU staff at BGH for their excellent care, and the staff at
Cheshire House for making a big house into a family home.  Words cannot say how much you are appreciated.  Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will take place at McConnell Funeral Home, Madoc, on Tuesday, November 23 at 1:00 p.m.  Joshua will be laid to rest between his Nana and Papa Dillabough at Hermon Cemetery, McArthur’s Mills at a later date.  Donations to John StreetCheshire Home, Belleville, where Joshua resided for the last ten years, would be appreciated.
