Lorraine MacKinnon Obituary
M. Lorraine MacKinnon (nee Abell), of Owen Sound, passed away peacefully at her home at Central Place, surrounded by the love of her family, on Sunday morning, March 5th, 2017. Dearly loved wife of Ross MacKinnon for 65 years. Loving mother of James MacKinnon (Kathryn), Margo Smart (Mike), Bradley MacKinnon (Sandra) and Catherine MacKinnon. Proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of James Abell (Barb). Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Sadie Abell and her daughter, Ann MacKinnon.
A Private Family Service for Lorraine MacKinnon will be held at a later date with Rev. Cathy Hird officiating. Spring interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs. The family would appreciate donations to the Parkinson Society of South Western Ontario as an expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
