At Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on October 14, 2018 Louis Osborne in his 86th year. Beloved husband for 61 years to Joyce (nee Marshman). Dear father of Lorne Osborne (Hong) and predeceased by a son Brian. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear brother of William Osborne (Jessie), Ronald Osborne (Dolores) and Shirley Gunn (the late Andy). Predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Lou served in the RCAF from 1953 to 1956. After discharge from the service he farmed with his in-laws Lorne and Mina Marshman. Lou played pro hockey for the Durham Bees. He spent 2 to 3 years in England setting up a tire mould plant. He was presented with multiple gifts on departing England. A memorial visitation will be held at THE FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St., S., Simcoe on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a family interment.
