MacLeod, Sandra of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, June 19th, 2014, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 72nd year. Dearly loved wife of George MacLeod and loved mother of Greg MacLeod (Janna) and Gord MacLeod (Emily). Dear sister of Michael Turner of Sundridge, Helen Long (Jim) of Sundridge, Pat Quinn of North Bay and the late Margaret Rainville. Loved grandmother of Mila MacLeod. Dear sister-in-law of Stella Turner of Sundridge. Dear aunt of the late Jean Ann Lang and the late Jamie Lang. Sandra was born in Sundridge on February 26, 1943, the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Schneider) Turner.
Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Elmdale Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation (Chemo Unit) or charity of choice.
