Billy ROE Obituary
Billy Roe Witt, age 88, of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, august 24, 2018 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Westerville, Delaware County, Ohio, son of the late Oscar and Ruby (Dixon) Witt. Predeceased by his loving wife Bonnie (Benvie) Witt, February 26, 1996. Proud father of Cyndi Rockwell, Billy Witt (Terri), Deborah Johnston (Pete), Doug Witt, Tami Meier (Glen) and Tracy McGraw (Steve). Much loved Papa/Poppy to his 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Billy is survived by his sister Lona Stanley (Jim) and his many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Billy was predeceased by his brother David Witt, grandson Tyler McGraw and a very good friend Gail. Friends and relatives may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 6-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
