Rita Anne Stagg Obituary
Rita Anne Stagg, age 96, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital surrounded by her loving family on January 10, 2022. Born in Hamilton, daughter of the late Dr. William and Caroline Fischer. Predeceased by her loving husband Mark Stagg (April 24, 2016). Survived by her family Murray and wife Karen, John, James and wife Linda and son-in-law George. Survived by grandchildren Jennifer, Christopher, Sarah, Adam and Evan and great grandchildren Justin, Tristan, Brooklyn, Taylor, Amira, Caden, Hudson and Everitt. Besides her parents and her husband, Rita was predeceased by her daughter Maureen, and her sisters Bernice McDermott and her husband Harold, and Agnes Fischer. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place later.
