At Moira Place Long Term Care Facility, Tweed, on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Lorne Mumby, formerly of Thomasburg and Stirling, in his 87th year. Son of the late Angus and Florence Mumby. Husband of the late Merle Mumby (nee Carleton). Father of Grant (Elaine), Ralph (Janice), Carl (Dianne), Karen (Eldon) Enright, Owen (Kelly), Mary Keller (Rob Van Egmond), Garnet (Susan), and the late Gordon. Father-in-law of Agnes Mumby and Karen (Charlie) Brownson. Lorne will be missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of Roy (Alice) Mumby. Predeceased by his siblings Douglas, David, George, his son-in-law Jack Baumhour, Leverne Keller, and his grandson Cory Baumhour. Friends will be received at the McConnell Funeral Home, Tweed, on Tuesday, April 26 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Funeral Service to take place in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Interment Thomasburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Thomasburg Cemetery would be appreciated.
