Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on December 6, 2015 at 83 years of age. Reunited with his loving wife Angela (Nee Loria). Devoted Father of Joanne Pignanelli and husband Peter Dale, Joseph Pignanelli and spouse Susan Mayne. Cherished Nonno of Matthew and Eric Dale, Carly and Francesco Pignanelli, and Amanda Mayne. Dear brother of Caterina Loria (late Giuseppe) and Marietta Loria (late Salvatore). He will missed dearly by his nephew Frank Loria and wife Yolanda. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended families in Canada and Italy. Francesco retired from Coco Paving after 35 years of dedicated service and was a long standing member of the Giovanni Caboto Club. Francesco will always be remembered for his unwavering love and devotion to his family and friends. A special thank-you to the staff at C.C.A.C., Hospice and Dr. Y. Emara Centre for your exceptional care and compassion given to Francesco. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, from 3 à 5 and 7 à 9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
