Aldo Antonio ZOPPA, Obituary
It is with immense grief that we announce the passing of our beloved (Zop.) Aldo passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and family. He is survived by cherished wife and soul-mate Penny Gabrieau-Zoppa and father-in-law Barney Gabrieau. He will be missed by nieces Sarah Zoppa-Hilton (Keith), Samantha Zoppa, Gina Zoppa, Andrea Madden, Kimberly Wilson, Chantelle, Melissa and Jessica Gabrieau and nephews Derek Wilson and Danny Wilson (Samantha). Dear brother-in-law to Carol Madden (Mike), Joanne Gabrieau (Elton Garbus) and Joseph Gabrieau (Andrea). Special (amici) of Ben and Denise Scarcelli and daughters Camilla and Liana. He is predeceased by parents Gildo (1986) and Petronilla (Josie) (1982) Zoppa, brother Gino Zoppa (2013), sister-in-law Sandra Zoppa (Happy)(2010) and mother-in-law Leona Gabrieau (2004). Aldo had a great love of all living creatures and in this spirit the family requests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made in his name to Wings Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Wings took in injured and sick Racoons that Aldo brought in to be cared for and released. Visiting Friday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 7:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall South Windsor 519-969-5841. Private family burial at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
