It is with sadness that the family of the late Doris Gertrude Smith announces her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 89 years.
Doris leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Colin (Arlene), David, & John (Cynthia); grandchildren, Crystal, Mark, Ashley, Shawn, Cassandra, Joshua, & Michael; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as a large number of other relatives and many friends.
Doris is predeceased by her husband, Colin; grandson, Peter; parents, Thomas & Barbara Edison; 6 brothers, & 4 sisters.
The public visitation will take place Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 7-9 pm, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.
The funeral service will take place Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11 am from Jubilee Pentecostal Temple, 28 Fernwood Drive, Botwood, NL with Pastor Edwin White officiating.
The interment will follow at The Pentecostal Cemetery, Botwood, NL.
As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Jubilee Pentecostal Temple Home Missions Fund.
