Violet Mae Alexander Obituary check_circle

It is with heavy hearts that the families of Violet Mae Alexander nee George announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, November 19th, 2016, at the age of 88 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Sheila (Larry) Hynes, Delores (Edmund) Bennett, Elizabeth Rubia, Brendan Alexander, Vernon (Vi) Alexander, Aubrey (Bev) Alexander, Maj (Deanna) Alexander, Juanita (Henry) Curnew, Wayne (Dianne) Alexander, Ivan Alexander, Freeman (Camilla) Alexander, and Rhonda (Sheldon) Gordon. Her 15 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren, her brothers; Jim George, Robert (Nellie) George, Winston George (Patty), her sister; Edith LeMoine, and sister-in-law; Joan George, mother was predeceased by her husband; Wilbert, great great grandchild; Benjamin, brothers; Bill George, Verdon George, and Howard George, sisters; Ella George, Katherine George, Emily George, and Irene George, her parents; Elizabeth and Stanley George, and brother-in-law; Howard LeMoine, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families, and friends.

The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Monday, November 21st, 2016, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

The Funeral mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016 at 10:30 am from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake, NL, with Father Gabriel officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of The Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Immaculate Conception Parish, Deer Lake, NL, In Loving Memory of Violet Mae Alexander memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
