EDWARD JAMES (JIMMY) BAKER Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late EDWARD JAMES (JIMMY) BAKER of Grand Bank announces his passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Monday October 15th, 2018 at the age of 93. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; sons, Ernest (Pauline Day) of Grand Bank, Stanley (Betty) of Harbour Main, Edward Jr. (Nora) of Grand Bank; daughter, Sadie of Halifax, NS; grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren; plus, a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Harriett Prior; parents, Felix & Sadie Baker; son, William-Wallace Baker; daughter-in-law, Florence Baker, and special aunt & uncle, Frances & Wallace Hayward.
The Baker Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on Wednesday, October 17th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel in Grand Bank on Thursday, October 18th at 2:00pm.
Interment to follow at The Salvation Army cemetery in Grand Bank.
In Jimmy’s memory, donations may be made to The Salvation Army cemetery fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
