Carman Alexandra Fabiano Obituary check_circle

Carman Alexandra Fabiano, better known as Alex to family and friends, died tragically in an automobile accident on October 2, 2011 in Anchorage Alaska.

Born on Kodiak Island on May 31, 1989, Alex graduated from Kodiak High School and continued on to the University of Alaska in Anchorage where she was a senior working on a double major in Fine Arts and Philosophy .

In her 22 years Alex left a definite mark in the world of art. Talented far beyond her years she had been selected to several juried shows, which always amazed her as she would say with such humility that she was just doing what she loved.

Family and friends were a valued part of Alex’s life and a room was always made brighter with her presence.

Alex leaves behind parents Mark Fabiano of Spokane and Jeannie Fabiano of Juneau, older sister Danica Meng of Anchorage, and grandparents Ron and Bonnie Wailes of Cle Elum, Washington and Mildred Fabiano of Spokane.

She has left behind a legacy of precious time shared and memories made.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 5, 2011 at the UAA Student Union Building in the "Den" from 2-5 pm, Anchorage Alaska.

Donations can be made to the Fine Arts program at UAA in her name.
