Kathy S. Reed, 59, passed away on March 9, 2012 at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

Kathy was born on January 7, 1953 in Portland, OR to Patricia (Burnaugh) and Raymond Baker. She moved with her family to Alaska in 1965. She was a graduate of Dimond High School Class of 1971. She attended the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Kathy loved cooking, gardening, painting, and fishing. She had a great love for the Alaskan outdoors. Kathy lived her life on her terms. Like the Sinatra song, "She did it her way." She was a very caring and giving person . You don’t realize how much you will miss someone until they are gone. She will be greatly missed. Throughout her life she touched many people in different ways.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia, her father, Ray, and her brother, Mike.
She is survived by her son, Michael Reed of Anchorage.
