Sewillow Davenport Buchanan Obituary
Jacksonville – Graveside services for Mrs. Sewillow Davenport Buchanan, 84, will be today, April 6, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Jacksonville City Cemetery with Rev. Benjie Miller officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, in Jacksonville, today from 12-1:45 p.m., prior to the service. Mrs. Buchanan died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Riverview RMC in Gadsden. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Homesley and her husband, Bobby, of Jacksonville; two sons, Randy Buchanan and his wife, Nadia, of Georgia and Donnie Buchanan and his wife, Kim, of Anniston; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cody Homesley, Adam Homesley, Bobby Lee Homesley, Greg Brannon, Justin Buchanan and Dakota Homesley. Mrs. Buchanan was a Baptist by faith. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Buchanan; and her daughter, Linda B. Hilton. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association , 117-A Longwood Drive, Huntsville, AL 35801.
