Brian Charles Garrison 35, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at home in Tucson, Arizona. Brian, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, grew up in Scottsdale, until he made his home in Tucson. Brian attended the University of Arizona, where he was a member the Sigma Chi fraternity. In 1996, Brian enlisted in the US Marines, where he was stationed at Camp Pendleton, serving in Company A, First Battalion, Fifth Marine Regiment. He received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and Meritorious Mast for superior performance of duty while serving as a small boat coxswain. Following his military service, his interests led him to the audio/visual and electronics/computer technology field. At the time of his death, Brian was employed by CCS Presentation Systems, where he was head installer in the Tucson area. Brian’s activities outside his love of electronics and computers included golf, target shooting, animation, and recently a new interest in cooking. Brian is survived by his mother and father, Carol B. and C. Scott Garrison; his maternal grandmother, Luanne B. Bennett, Scottsdale; brother, Richard B. Garrison, San Francisco; sister, Amanda B. Garrison, Los Angeles and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Richard B. Bennett, Scottsdale and Charles N. and Marguerite P. Garrison, Oswego, Illinois. Friends and family celebrated Brian’s life in a memorial gathering at the Garrison’s home and a private service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Cave Creek, Arizona, in the future
