Daniel Ralph Obituary
82, of Sutter passed away April 9, 2012 at his residence in Sutter surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Ralph and Nellie Castro November 16, 1929 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He was a longtime Yuba-Sutter resident.
Daniel was a kind man who loved the simple things in life like spending time with his wife and taking long rides all around Sutter on their scooters. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nikki Castro; daughters: Diana Morales, Ann Castro, Yolanda Romero of Yuba City, Mary Perez of Marysville, Terry Castro of Knights Landing, Cathy Bunch of Sutter and Danielle Keenen of Dobbins; sons: Charles Castro of Marysville and Salvador Castro of Live Oak; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sisters: Dolores Martha of Sacramento, Phyllis DeLa Rosa of La Mirada, CA, MaryAnn Koumarianos of Tracy, CA; brothers: Robert Castro of Sacramento, Manuel Castro of Roseville, Ronnie Castro of Kerns, UT, and Leonardo Castro of Colusa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Nellie Castro; his son, Alfred Castro; daughter, Teresa Castro; and sisters: Eleanor Castro and Louise Castro.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center 1470 Butte House Road Yuba City. Burial will follow at Sutter Cemetery in Sutter.
