Sheila marie Durrett Duceppe Obituary
Surrounded by family and friends, Sheila went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2012.
She was born on April 13, 1953 to Laura and Marshall Durrett in San Mateo, CA and moved to Yuba City. She attended Lincoln School and later graduated from Yuba City High School.
She was a bartender most of her life. Sheila had a love for people and had never met a stranger.
Sheila is survived by her children, Staci Cavanagh and Danny Boy Venice, both of Yuba City, 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Cavanagh, Keegun Venice and Teylor Peterson, all of Yuba City, Nicholas, Nicole and Nathan Deppe, of Colorado, and her husband, Jim Deppe, 2 sisters, Sandra Newhardt of Milpitas, Connie Sutterlin of Washington, 3 brothers, Jim Fisher and Rod Durrett of San Jose and Rocky Durrett of Palermo.,
Sheila is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Eric Whitmer.
Sheila was dedicated to her family and had a sincere love for children. Her beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Services will be held at Ullrey’s in Yuba City on January 27, 2012 at 2pm. A Celebration of her Life will follow.
