Peter H. Hughes (retired) of the Pawtucket Police Dept. and Irene D. (Williamson) Hughes. She is survived by her three loving daughters and their families: Linda and John Macchi and their sons, Kyle, Benjamin and Connor of Northborough MA; Colleen and Steven Carr and their children, Kelsey and Derek and Steve, Tyler and Kaitlyn of Cumberland; Melissa and Kevin St. Jean and their children, Bethany and Brad. Hughes, the Religious Education Program at St. Aidan’s Church in Cumberland where she served as the CCD Coordinator for 10 years. Later, she worked for Burnes of Boston in Smithfield until the company moved to Texas. She has been employed by Tanya Creations, Inc. of East Providence as their Credit Manager ever since. The happiest moments in Marilyn’s life was the time she spent with her family and the quality time she shared with her grandchildren who lovingly called her "Nonnie". She treasured each one of them. Besides the deep love and closeness she shared with her children, her grandchildren just lit up her life. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the J.J.
