Juliet "Pat" Abend, a 59-year resident of Davidsonville, and previously of Baltimore County, died on December 30 of natural causes at the Washington Hospital Center. Pat was born January 6, 1932 in Baltimore to the late Howard and Alice Mace. She was co-owner of Frank Abend Landscaping and enjoyed bowling and sewing. Pat is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frank Abend of Davidsonville; her son, Steve Abend of Davidsonville; her daughter Sandy Collins of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her brother John Mace; and four sisters, Dorothy Landenklos, Betty Bartgis, Nancy Gostomski and Tillie Albright, Friends are invited to Pat’s Life Celebration 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD where funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, January 6. Entombment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville.
