Mr. John Sullivan Obituary
John Sullivan, passed away January 3, 2012. He was born August 5, 1931 and raised in his beloved Kealkil, Co. Cork, Ireland. After being drafted and serving in the US Army, John moved to Detroit where he graduated from the University of Detroit. He began his career with General Motors and moved to Smith Instruments where he was a co-owner for 30 years. Loving husband of Marjorie (nee Pettit) for 51 years. Dear father of Sean (Heidi), Molly (Brad), Margaret (Randy), Katie and Kevin (Erin). Grandfather of Jack, Patrick, Mary, Danny, Abby, Kevin, Sean, Mimi, Stella, Gracie and Tess. Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward (between 13-14 Mile), Friday 2-8 p.m. Scripture service 7 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday 11:30 a.m. at St. Alan Catholic Church, 2345 Coolidge Rd.
