LARRY WADE BROWN
MARION – Larry Wade Brown, 75, of Marion, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Mr. Brown was born May 12, 1937, in McDowell County. He was the son of the late William Jack and Louise Parks Brown.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Patricia Hemphill Brown; his daughter, Julie Brown; his son, Kent Brown and wife, Crystal, and their daughters, Olivia and Caroline.
Notwithstanding his volunteer work, civic service, and administrative positions, Larry would most like to be remembered as a math teacher and grandfather.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 22 at First United Methodist Church in Marion. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2 p.m. in the church parlor.
Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Marion.
