ROBERT C BERTONCINI Obituary
BERTONCINI, ROBERT C., 69 of Pawtucket died Saturday, November 19, 2011. He was the husband of M.J. Bertoncini. They had been married sixteen years. Mr. Bertoncini was born in Pawtucket the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Donati) Bertoncini. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Bryant University in Marketing/ Sales. He then earned his Master’s Degree in Education from Rhode Island College. Mr. Bertoncini was a member of the Army National Guard. He taught Business at Tolman High School in Pawtucket. Known as Mr B. to his students he went on to be a guidance counselor at Slater Jr. High School and then Goff Jr. High School in Pawtucket before he retired in 1999. Mr. Bertoncini had many interests in his life. He truly enjoyed the movies, traveling to Florida, his golf game, the beach, reading a good book and horse racing. Besides his wife he leaves his daughters, Bianca Bertoncini and Marisa Bertoncini both of Miami Florida, his sisters Karen McCluskie and her husband Tom of Smithfield, and Toni Dumville and her husband Fritz of Providence. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Kimberly Tucker of Attleboro MA, and Kenneth Capozzoli of Lincoln, and his grandchildren Alexandria and Brittany Tucker. The funeral for Mr. Bertoncini will be Wednesday at 10:00am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 11:30am. His burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery. The calling hours for Mr. Bertoncini will be Tuesday 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home
