Jack Christian Obituary
CHRISTIAN, JACK Age 86,of Inverness passed away on Saturday, January 7,2012. Mr. Christian was a native of Vernon, AL, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and participated in the D Day invasion of Normandy, he retired from Kraft Foods with 39 years of service, he was also a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Mr. Christian is survived by his wife of 68 years, Alice Christian, a brother Austin Christian (Betty), a number of nieces and nephews, and a special friend Ivy Walters. There will be a chapel service for Mr. Christian on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Ridout’s Valley Chapel with a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. The family will be having a reception following the service at Valley Chapel. Burial will be at the Alabama National Cemetery.
