Vera Baldridge, 84, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at Methodist West Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at McLaren’s Chapel.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Private burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.
Vera was born on a farm in Wiota, Iowa and lived most of her life in West Des Moines. She was employed by the U.S.D.A. and Earl May Nursery & Garden Center. She was a member of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and Trinity Lutheran Church. Vera’s favorite hobbies were gardening, golfing and sketching, and she loved her dog Cady.
She is survived by nephews, nieces and sister-in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill.
