Surrounded by her family with her dignity and gentle touches at LHSC-University Hospital on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Dwight “DJ” Henderson (2012). Dear mother of Julie Armitage of Arva, Mike and Terry Henderson of Bayfield, Bill Henderson and Barb Robertson of London, Karen and Paul Cook of Komoka, John Henderson and Al Maynard of Grand Bend and Sarah and Mark Taylor of Kemble. Dear grandmother of Richard and Mandy, James and Cheri; Greg, Colin and Kirsten, and Rob; Ashley and Justin, Laura, Michelle and Blake; Bekah and Jason; Mitchell and Kayla, and Katelyn and Ryan; and great-grandmother of Tucker, Austin, Sydney, Case, Kaden, Justin, Addison, Theodore, Darcy, Victoria, Wesley, Bridget, Valor, and Marek. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jack and Ruth Ann of London, and Carol Rankin of Highgate. Predeceased by her grandson Byron Henderson, daughter-in-law Sheri Henderson, son-in-law Dave Armitage, brother Les Austen and his wife Dorothy and brother-in-law Ken Rankin and sisters-in-law Shirley Morrice and Donna and her husband Owen Hickmott.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 PM. A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 189 Main Street, Lucan on Monday, March 18th at 11AM. Family interment St. John’s Cemetery, Arva.
