Bessie Macdonald Obituary
Bessie MacDonald, wife of the late Arnold MacDonald, passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on July 25, 2015.
Bessie was born in Crombie Settlement, NB on May 6, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Grace (Boone) DeWitt. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by two sons, Peter MacDonald of Weaver, NB and Ben (Lorna) MacDonald of New Maryland NB; her grandson Charles MacDonald (Tracy Anderson) of Calgary, AB; her granddaughter Allison MacDonald of Toronto, ON. She was an aunt, great aunt and great great aunt to many.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, David, Carl and James DeWitt; two sisters, Mary Kane and Laura Harrison; two half-brothers Walton and Earle Inman; one half-sister Margaret Hiscock.
By Bessie’s request, no visitation or funeral service will be held.
