Kathleen Anne ENGLAND Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we said goodbye on August 15, 2021, to our beloved and cherished Mom, Nana and Sister. Kathy, in her seventy-second year, is survived by her: two children, Mary Godfrey (Douglas) and Matthew Keating (Amanda); four grandchildren, Conall, Ryanna, Xander and Max; brothers, Timothy (Donna), Robert (Joan), Steven (Rita), David (Margaret); and sister, Julia MacEachern. She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Reta England. Kathy will be remembered by many colleagues and patients that she worked and cared for during her forty year nursing career at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (Barrie, Ontario). After retirement, Kathy taught nursing skills at Georgian College and was a long standing member of the Simcoe Horticultural Society. She will be missed by her many friends that she made in nursing, quilting and horticultural. A private family service will be held at Adams Funeral Home on August 21. The interment, (St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Southgate Township (Proton), Ontario) and Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
