Peacefully, Donald Charles Collins passed away on September 6, 2021, at Kipling Acres, with his loving wife Deborah Janes Collins by his side. Don is survived by his sister Carol Schwartz, and his children Derrick Collins, Barbara Faria, Carolyn Collins, and Mark Collins.

On August 8, 1933, Don was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. As a teacher, principal, and artist, Don enjoyed sharing his love of the arts with his friends and family. Former President of the Kiwanis Club of Hamilton and member of the Boys and Girls Club, he was an impactful member of his community.

He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday morning, September 9 from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock. Please click this link to register if you plan to attend.
