Joan Elizabeth Swayze Obituary
Peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice-Hankinson House on Friday, April 7, 2017 in her 75th year, Betty Swayze, wife and best friend of Wayne Swayze. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Tammy) Wilhelm, Lana Wilhelm. Dearest daughter of Marion and the late Lester Wood. Dear brother of Larry (the late Sue) Wood, Paul (Yvonne) Wood, Janice Atchison, Brad (Joanne) Wood and the late Bob Wood. Much loved grandma of Kristie, Andrew, Mathew, Jordan, Haelie, Samuel. Dear sister-in-law of Donny and Louise Swayze, who were very special to Betty. Betty was a tax accountant for 40 years, before she retired. Special thanks to Dr. Lee and the Cancer Clinic team. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received to play their respects at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. à 12:00 p.m. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. If wished, memorial donations to Stedman Community Hospice à Hankinson House gratefully appreciated.
