It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear Aunt Tomi/Kathy/Kathryn on Saturday, March 2nd in her 92nd year. She is predeceased by her husband, Ted Baca, her parents, Yoshinojo and Shinobu Shimoji, her 4 brothers, Kiyoharu, Shizuo, Yoshiharu and Sadamu, as well as her sister Masako Honda and her beloved nephew James Honda. She is survived by her nieces, Nancy (Heinz), Irene, Miyo, Sam (Brian) and nephews Bob (late Wanda) and Koji (Ruth). Thank you to the staff at Wentworth Heights and a special thank you to her great niece-in-law Kelly and her great nephew Brad for their ongoing devotion and care of her and her beloved dog, Sydni.

A funeral is to be held on Tuesday, March 12th at Bay Gardens, 1010 Spring Gardens Rd., Burlington. Visitation at 1:00 p.m.; Funeral at 2:00 p.m.; Interment at 3:00 at Holy Sepulchre, followed by a Reception at 3:30 p.m. at Bay Gardens.
