Hailey Anne Marie Nixon

May 28, 2000 – March 29, 2024

On Friday, March 29, 2024 suddenly as a result of a devastating motor vehicle collision Hailey Nixon passed. She was transported to Northumberland Hills Hospital where she fought courageously but the physical trauma was too much to bear. She was 23 when she gained her angel wings. Hailey is the deeply loved daughter to Lisa (Adam) Ford and Matt Nixon. Loved sister to Aleah (Conner) and proud aunt of sweet Levi. Adored girlfriend to Nathan Hogg. Beloved granddaughter to Carolyn and Ken Ford, Bonnie and the late Doug Merry as well as the special grand parents she gained, Judy Mcllmoyle and Larry Hynes. Cherished niece to Janice (Steven), Mike (Anesha) Nixon, Michelle (Kevin) Kellow, As well as great-niece to Gwen (Torsten) Lins, Judy (Bruce) Ledgerwood, Wayne (Chris) Wamboldt, Sandra (Bruce Black) Provost, Marlene Abey, Donna Nixon, and Terry (Patricia) Nixon. Loved dog mom to Akira, who Hailey loved tremendously. Hailey is so deeply loved by so many extended family and all of her wonderful friends. The weight of this loss is unimaginably heavy but knowing that waiting her arrival at Heaven’s gate was her dog Carter, her great-grandmother Audrey Wambodlt and her best friend Christpher who tragically passed with Hailey, brings a small amount of hope and peace. Hailey touched and changed the lives of all those around her with her beautiful smile and kind heart. If you knew her, you knew that she had to take a selfie almost every day and her beautiful and bubbly personality shone through each one of those photos. She loved spending time with Akira and was absolutely devastated when she had to let Carter walk the rainbow bridge. Hailey was a daughter, sister, girlfriend, granddaughter, niece and friend. She is irreplaceable in so many ways and the hearts of all those who knew her ache. Her time Earth side was cut too short, but it was time not wasted. She has left her mark and will remain an ever-beating presence in all who knew her. A visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home Friday, April 12, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Northumberland Humane Society in memory of Hailey.

Fly, high sweet butterfly. There is no more pain. May you live freely in the clouds watching over us all.
