Beryl (Lyness) Nash Obituary
Beryl (Lyness) Nash passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends on Sunday October 3, 2021, in her 94th year. She was dearly loved by her husband Robert (Bob) and they were married for 70 years before his passing in 2019. Beryl was the beloved mother of Debra Nash-Chambers and the late James Nash (2013). She was a wonderful mother-in-law to Laurie Nash and the late Ian Chambers (2020). Gramma was adored by her grandchildren Cristi Chambers, Michael Chambers, Rob Nash, Kari Nash, Kim Nash and their partners. She remained the dear aunt and second mother to Patricia Vickers. Beryl enjoyed her decades of friendship with Bernice Morley who became a member of our family. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Mabel Butler. Beryl enjoyed her long career with the County of Wellington and time with family and friends at the cottage in her retirement. She was an active volunteer for various charities over her lifetime. Beryl began attending Knox Presbyterian Church, Guelph in 1941. She served on the Knox Board of Managers for many years and both Beryl and Bob thoroughly enjoyed attending Seniors Connecting at Knox in more recent years. The family would like to thank Dr. Kennedy and the nurses and caregivers who helped Mom in the final chapter of a long, happy life. The family wishes to express their thanks for the Community Paramedicine Remote Patient Monitoring (CPRPM) Program and Hospice Wellington.
A private funeral will be held at Gilchrist Chapel, McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street, Guelph on Wednesday October 6th, 2021.
