Angela Marfisi Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and nonna, on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 in her 91st year. Mom is happy to finally be reunited with her loving husband and soulmate Giovanni (2008). Survived by her only son Henry and daughter-in-law Diane, and the joys of her life, her two adoring grandchildren, Christopher and Julianna. Predeceased by her parents, Giuseppe and Maria Giovanna DiVincenzo. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Nicola (late) and Ida (late) DeVincentis, Salvatore (late) and Adelina (late) DeVincentis, Antonio (late) and Rosaria (late) DeVincentis, Luigi (late) and Antonietta DiVincenzo, Emilio (late) and Adela DeVincentis and Carmela (late) and Antonio (late) DiLoreto. Angela is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy, as well as extended members of the Marfisi family in Italy. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of Mike and Barbara Jagusic. Angela loved her family dearly. She was passionate about cooking their favourite Italian dishes followed by espresso. One of her favourite pastimes was going shopping with her grandchildren. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff of Ridgeview Long Term Care Home and to Dr. Ralph Profetto for his compassion and care. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James Street) on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 4-9 PM. Funeral mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10 AM. Private family entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. All guests are required to practice physical distancing and wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
