Maria Faria Obituary
Passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2021 at Juravinski Hospital at the age of 75. Maria is now reunited with her husband Jose Jacinto Faria, as well as with her mother and father Deolinda and Joao Faria. She will be dearly missed by her son Rui, as well as by her siblings Isaura (the late Joao) Cordeiro and Deolinda (the late Joe) DaCosta. Predeceased by her brother Osvaldo (Joana) Faria. Maria is also survived, and fondly remembered, by Ryan as well as by many nieces, nephews, and friends. We wish to thank the staff at the Juravinski Hospital for all of their care and support. Visitation will take place at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., on Wednesday, October 6th from 4-8p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Regina Mundi Parish, 631 Mohawk Rd. W., on Thursday, October 7th, 2021, at 10a.m., with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington. All guests must practice physical distancing and wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
