Marilyn Joyce Hurley Obituary
Peacefully passed away with family by her side at L.H.S.C., University Hospital on Sunday, January 15th, 2017 at the age of 72.
Beloved wife of 52 years to William “Bill” Hurley of London. Devoted & loving mother to Deb (Al) O’Grady of London and Bill (Shirley) Hurley of Waterdown. The very best grandmother in the world to Ben O’Grady (Meaghan Kelly) and Jill O’Grady (Justin Hawes), both of London. Dear sister of Don (Kathryn) Smyth of Richmond Hill and Tom (Jane) Smyth of Ottawa. Deeply missed by her aunt Doris Barless of Toronto. Sister-in-law to Ken (Ann) Hurley of Stratford, Fr. John “Jack” Hurley of Toronto and Diane Smyth of Barrie. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Marion & William “Bill” Smyth Sr. and brother William “Bill” Smyth Jr.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
A Celebration of Lynn’s Life will follow in the Logan Chapel at 12:00 p.m.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Lynn Hurley.
