Olga Ollie (née Kurylowich) McKELVEY Obituary
At Victoria Hospital on Friday, April 11th, 2014, with her husband by her side, Olga Ollie McKelvey (née Kurylowich), of London and formerly of Toronto, in her 67th year. Beloved wife of David McKelvey. Survived by sister-in-law Mary (Garry) Thompson, of London and by brother-in-law Paul Henderson, of Sarnia, nephew Mark Thompson (Beth), of Port Franks and niece Kristi Phillips (Doug), of London. Predeceased by her brother George Kurylowich, of Dayton Ohio; her parents Andro and Mary Kurylowich, of Toronto; her sister-in-law Margaret (Gardner) Henderson, of Sarnia; her mother-in-law Olga McKelvey, and father-in-law Gordon (Mac) McKelvey, of London; and by her step-daughter Jennifer McKelvey. Ollie, a long-time dialysis patient, was instrumental in establishing an annual memorial service to honour the passing of those who suffered from Kidney failure. Her volunteer work, encouragement and her loving nature will long be remembered! Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 à 4:00 and 7:00 à 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. The funeral service will be conducted at BYRON UNITED CHURCH, 420 Boler Road, London, on Thursday, April 17th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, to be determined at a later date.
