Mackenzie Patricia Delic Obituary check_circle

Mackenzie Patricia Delic

November 11, 1995 – August 28, 2021

Mackie was a gracious young lady with many gifts and shared these with the people she met on her journey.  She wanted the best for everyone around her.  Conscientious to the core, she made personal sacrifices for those she loved.  She encouraged others to chase their dreams and find their happiness.  It made her happy if you were happy.

Mackie loved sunshine, swimming, flowers, art and children.  Her family was most important to her.  Her caring nature shone through in her love for animals – especially her cat “Lottie.”  Animals always surrounded her.  Her sense of humour and her strong inner strength made her very memorable and loveable.  Sadly our beautiful Mackie was taken from us too soon, in her 26th year.

Much loved daughter of Edward Delic and Patricia and Brian Chinappi.  Big sister of Tyson Delic, Wylder Delic and the late Dorian Delic.  Granddaughter of Katarina and the late Jure Delic, the late Patricia and the late Julius Muiser and Marilyn and Cosmo Chinappi.  Great granddaughter of Frances Cordeau.  Treasured Goddaughter of Sue and Guy Postma and Darko Delic.  Loving partner of Christian Palazzotto.  She will be missed by Carol and John Palazzotto.  Mackie leaves behind many friends she considered family, as well as her dear cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 3, 2021 at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street)  from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday September 4, 2021 at Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville at 10 am.  Interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu flowers and in honour of Mackie please consider making a donation in support of the Second Heart Program, c/o Dr. Richard Whitlock 905-522-3863 or online at www.hamiltonhealth.ca/donate with designation to “Other – Gift in Memory of Mackenzie Delic, Second Heart Program.”
