Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Monday, March 26th, 2018. Linda Diane Burleigh (nee Menzies), of Kilsyth, passed away at the age of 65 years after battling cancer for 16 years with many challenges and complications along the way. Linda was born in Havelock on April 23rd, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Nellie Menzies (nee McGowan) and a loving wife and special lady to Dennis Burleigh. Linda was the best loved mom of all to April Ross (Peter), of Ottawa and Timothy Burleigh (Lee Ann), of Guelph and the most grateful and loving gramma of William Mackenzie Ross aka âthe happy little man). Linda will be fondly remembered by her sister, Alice Baptie (Murray), of Norwood; her brother, Brian Menzies (Kathy), of Havelock; her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her great friends, Valerie, Lynda, Ileen, Birdie, Shirley, Carol, Hazel, Mary Lou, Marilyn; all the other wonderful great ladies of the Kilsyth United Church; her special friends, Rosalind and Debbie will always remember her.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 à 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Linda Burleigh will be held at the Kilsyth United Church, 101829 Grey Road 5, Kilsyth, on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Shearman officiating. Spring interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Chapman House Hospice, the Kilsyth United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society as an expression of sympathy.
