Katherine Miller-Nickels Obituary
It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Katherine Miller-Nickels announces her unexpected passing, on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the age of 31. Katherine will be missed by her daughter Mercedez and Mercedez’s father Dan Richards, mom Donna (the late Mark) Freeman, and grandmother Ruby Nickels. She will be remembered by her sisters, Barbara Nickels and Brenda (Steven) Hignett, nieces and nephews Brooklyn, Rhilyn, Ryker, Tyler, Cole, and Peyton, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Katherine has been reunited with her dad, Mike Miller and nephew Haiden. Katherine was always smiling and helping others. She had a kind, loving and giving soul. Katherine’s greatest love was her daughter and she was a wonderful aunt. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Katherine’s life will be held at Smith Family Centre, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to a trust fund for Mercedez, details to follow (cheques only at the funeral home please).
