Jackie Paterson, age 67, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Friday, August 24, 2018. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Jack and Jessie âPat’ (nee Tanner) Mansfield. Beloved wife of Kevin Paterson. Loved mother of Ashley Paterson (Brandon Matt). Dear sister of Linda Whittingham (Dick), Joe Mansfield and Vic Mansfield (Jean). Jackie will also be missed by her grandchildren Dylan and Nakayla Matt, step-grandchildren Wyatt and Kaydence MacCormick, mother-in-law Gloria Clark, brothers-in-law Rod Paterson (Cathy), Steve Paterson (Peggi) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Michael and Frank Mansfield, grandchildren Michael and Natalie Matt and sister-in-law Ruth Mansfield. Jackie served as Secretary/Dispatch with the Stratford Fire Department for over 20 years. Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Following the interment in Avondale Cemetery, a reception will be held at the funeral home.
