Vitor Estrela Obituary
Vitor Manuel Raimundo Estrela, of Portugal, died May 21, 2024, in Toronto. He died unexpectedly, but peacefully, of Cholangiocarcinoma, Cancer. He was 60 years old. Vitor was born Dec 29, 1963, in Moita, Portugal.
Vitor loved all things food. From trying new things, to creating new dishes. Vitor was passionate about hosting his friends and family. His love language was cooking for his loved ones. He was a culinary master and we will miss all of his savoury meals. Vitor loved soccer; he was a huge fan of Benfica! He was always up to watch a soccer game with his children and friends! Vitor was such a handyman; who truly knew how to do it all! He was always on his next renovation project at home. Vitor had so much appreciation for architecture. He enjoyed travelling and going on adventures. He loved to show his kids and loved ones his favourite places. He spent the last few years going back and forth to Portugal, his homeland and Toronto. Vitor loved spending time with his family, and he loved them very much.
Vitor is survived by his children: Marissa Estrela, Andrea Estrela, and Lucas Estrela, His grandchildren Leandra Ivy Estrela Menendez, Leon Marcus Estrela Menendez and his Uncle Alvaro Raimundo. Vitor was preceded in death by his father, Vitor Estrela; his mother Maria João Raimundo Estrela; his sister, Rosaria Raimundo Estrela; his beloved dog, Vida Estrela and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home on Dundas & Bathurst from 2:00 – 8:00 on May 26, 2024 with a mass service to follow on May 27th, 2024 at 12:00 at Cardinal Funeral Home.
