Katharina PLELI Obituary
Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side after a brave journey with cancer on March 11, 2016 at 86 years of age. Loving wife of John Pleli for 64 years. Cherished mother of Caroline K. Ladouceur of Burlington, Philip J. Pleli and wife Patricia of Windsor, Nicholas F. Pleli and wife Katherine of Windsor, and John E. Pleli of Windsor. Adored Oma of Megan Ladouceur, Jillian and Christopher (Nicole) Pleli, Matthew and David Pleli, and the late Nicole Pleli (1991). Survived by her much loved sister Anna Bappert and late husband Philipp (2007). She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Katharina was a dedicated and longtime member of St. Michael’s German Church, C.W.L., and the Teutonia Club (Seniors Group). Above all, Katharina will always be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Monday March 14, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday March 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Katharina, donations may be made to Windsor Essex Cancer Centre Foundation or to St. Michaels German Church Building Fund.
