The death of Mrs. Cecilia Blanch, 98 years, of St. Mary’s Villa, Humboldt occurred on Friday, October 17, 2014. Cecilia will be lovingly remembered by her seven children: Murray (Stefanie); Anne (Joe) Menz; Karen (Allan) Korte; Mary (Roger) Hofmann; Patrick (Sharon); George (Dawn); and Colleen (Tom) Gray; daughter in-law, Margaret Blanch; 26 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. Cecilia was predeceased by her husband, Leo Blanch (2004); daughters: Joan in infancy (1955) and Bernadette Danchilla (2008); son, Bill (2012) and son-in-law, Don Danchilla (2008). A Prayer Service for Cecilia will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Both services will take place at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, Muenster. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Gertrude Cemetery or St. Mary’s Villa Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home, Humboldt (306-682-1622).
